About Me

My name is Lauren Cunningham. I blog about my life as the wife of a grad student and as a millennial in search of her career. I started out this blog writing reviews of concerts I attended with my husband Corey, and it grew into a record of our journey.

Corey and I are not a traditional couple. He is studying composition at the University of Texas while I support him and pursue my dream of being an arts administrator. We are emotionally supported by our two cats, Winston and Egon.

We live in Austin, Texas, though we grew up in Western Wisconsin. In the meantime we lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan while Corey did his master's degree at the University of Michigan. (GO BLUE!)

I still write about music in between posts about job interviews, marital bonding, and life on a budget. I pepper in a bit of style and decorating because I just can't help myself. A huge shout-out to my heart's sister, Justina for the design of this blog, and being a even huge-er inspiration.
